"I actually bought the Audio Technica ATH ES7 for my son's 16th birthday. He had worn a pair that his buddy at school had, and really fell in love with them! I must admit that their was method in my "madness"in giivng him the ATH ES7 as a gift. First, he had been driivng me crazy with his loud rap music, that I was continually telling him to turn down.

Secondly, I knew that I would get a chance to use them myself, so I could determine if I wanted a pair. Well, I was right on both counts! No more loud rap music, and I have used them off and on for about a month.

The Audio Technica ATH ES7 headphones are remarkably light and comfortable. The ear cups are nicely cushioned, and while they fit snugly, I can still wear them for an extended period of time. My two favorite types of music are classical and classic rock, which are obviously quite different.

The ATH ES7 headphones do justice to both types of music! I can listen to my music privately, yet still hear the phone and/or door bell ring. These are a great pair of headphones, and right now, Amazon has them for less than a hundred bucks! After I finish writing this ATH ES7 review, I think I'll order some for myself!"
